*Our first pageant.

Yep, dead smack in the middle of it, Miss Pre Teen Seattle.

And, no I am not doing everything or even pushing my daughter and yes, we are having fun with it! This is something she wanted to do.

Three weeks ago we had an orientation and a 1 minute interview and found out two days later she was one of 175 out of 500 that got picked to go further.

Sunday we went to our first training day and in two weeks we have a personal interview along with a photo shoot to add to her portfolio.

Then on Sunday, October 28th we do a rehearsal and then the big production. It will be at the Highline Performing Arts Center in Burien at 4pm and tickets will be available at the door.

We are so excited and are still looking for a casual outfit and a formal gown. (Will take anything borrowed and we love hand me downs! This kid can make anything work!)

Morgan is a natural and I can't wait to see how it all ends! If she wins in her age group we are off to Orlando to compete with the Cities of America in December. (hello Disney?!)

She has also entered the Miss Photogenic competition and can win a three year contract with John Robert Powers, with go-sees about every week!

This is exciting and we really are having fun with it! Not to mention the prizes! This is such an awesome opportunity for Morgan to learn from such great girls in this industry, since this is the industry she loves!
